Obinna Igwe

Obinna Igwe, a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, bagged a bachelors law degree from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom. He has had over 15 years demonstrable practice experience spanning the private, public, and not for profit sectors of the economy with footprints covering corporate/commercial practice, intellectual property law, medical negligence/malpractice, and criminal defense.

In pursuit of strong professional legal development, Obinna participates actively in Legal Aid Citizens Rights Initiative (LACRI) – Assisting the less privileged in legal representation (Probono), Committee to Decriminalize Petty Offences in Lagos State in the ongoing Review of Criminal Justice laws and developed a frame work of training of hospital staff on effects of Medical Negligence and malpractice.

He is the managing partner of Obinna Igwe & co (Legal practitioners) as well as an author.

Obinna is married to Lilian and has three children
