Akachi Ogbonnaya Ngwu

 is the founder/CEO of Consumer Scores International Limited, a Lagos Nigeria based Marketing communications consultancy, that pioneered and introduced In-Store LCD Advertising screen solutions in Nigeria advertising market.

Hitherto to his entrepreneurial pursuit, Akachi was at various times, an intern, Assistant Client service manager with Marketing & Media limited, Marketing Manager at Outdoor Communications limited, Business development manager, radio broadcast, Marketing manager, media agencies and Head of the station at Minaj Broadcast International, MBI.

In the course of his career, Akachi has been involved with several projects including the outdoor advertising campaign for the repackaging of Guinness FES campaign, TAVA sponsorships, led the business development team that engaged with media agencies at Minaj Broadcast International, successfully conducted a research survey on the choice of language for radio broadcasting in Lagos.

In 2014 at the inaugural business plan competition for sub-Saharan African entrepreneurs sponsored by Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Akachi won the top ten prize for growing business category in the competition and received the award at Casablanca, Morocco.

In his role as the founder/CEO of Consumer, Scores International limited he has led his team to successfully engage with advertisers, media agencies and other relevant stakeholders to build a sustainable entrepreneurial business.

His articles on Marketing communications has been published in Research Intelligence magazine and Business Day Newspapers. Presently, he is a monthly columnist with Financial Nigeria Journal as well as an editorial advisor.

Akachi is a registered member of Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria, APCON,  and has a  Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Abia State University, Uturu, a Masters in Business Administration, MBA from the University of Benin, Benin city.

He is married with two children and enjoys reading, writing, attending social events, and business networking. He is committed to continuous professional development through professional training at local and international opportunities.

Akachi is a strong believer on the various opportunities available in the African economy and volunteers as a Mentor in the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurial Foundation program, TEEF.

His professional interest is Marketing Communications & Analytics, Technology, Entrepreneurship. Akachi is a Sunday school teacher at his local church parish in Lagos, Nigeria.
